1. The outer edge of the off-road forklift tire is worn. If the outer edge of the tire is severely worn, it indicates that the tire is in a state of insufficient inflation, that is, insufficient tire pressure. Therefore, we need to regularly check the pressure of the tires.
2. If the convex and corrugated shapes of the tires are severely worn, it indicates that the shock absorbers, bearings, and spherical couplings of off-road forklifts are severely worn.
In this case, it is recommended that you check the wear of the suspension system and replace worn components before replacing the tires.
3. Even wear and tear on the surface of off-road forklift tires is a normal phenomenon. Once the pattern dries, it indicates that the tire needs to be replaced. If the wear has reached the standard depth of the tire pattern, it needs to be replaced. The difference in wear between different off-road forklift tires on the same axle shall not exceed 5mm.
4. The "hidden injuries" inside the tires of off-road forklifts are usually caused by serious scratches on the rubber layer of the tires after the vehicle collides with hard objects or drives in a flat tire state, which affects the sealing degree. In this case, the tire may leak or break. If the wound is small, it can be repaired to meet emergency needs. But if you want to travel a long distance, you need to replace it immediately.
5. If severe wear is found in the center area of the landing area of the off-road forklift tire, it indicates that the tire is often in an overfilled state, which will accelerate tire wear. Check if the pressure gauge is accurate and adjust the pressure properly. Only when driving at high speeds or under heavy loads, it is necessary to inflate the tires excessively, which is not necessary in normal conditions.
